Data Protection Policy

When you use our website, your personal data (hereinafter simply “data”) will be processed. These data can include such items as your name, address, email address and other personal information. In this context, processing basically comprises any manner or type of handling these data. In the following, we therefore provide you with information on the processing of your data in connection with the use of www.sitec-technology.de, based on the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable federal and state data protection laws.

 

Purpose and Legal Basis of Our Data Processing

1. Email Contact

At various points in our website, it is possible to make email contact using the email address provided. This involves storing the personal data transmitted, particularly the email address itself. These data are not disclosed to third parties. The data are used exclusively to process the request. The legal basis for processing the data is Article 6, Paragraph 1, Point (f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest in processing the data is in establishing contact. The data are deleted once the purpose no longer exists or the communication has been terminated. If an offer process occurs during the course of the communication, the processed data will be deleted when the retention periods provided for the purpose have expired.

2. Email Contact for Job Applications

The website provides an email address for job applications. The data entered here and the attached documents, provided they contain personal data, will be forwarded to the in-box provided for this purpose. The legal basis for processing is Article 6, Paragraph 1, Point (f) of the GDPR, since we have a legitimate interest in collecting the information necessary to process your application. If no contractual relationship is established on the basis of your application, the data will be deleted as the purpose for processing the data no longer exists

3. LS Product Configurator

Sitec-Technology provides a product configurator for submitting individualised requests for quotations. In the final step of this process, personal data are collected (company, name, email address, telephone number). The data entered here and the attached documents are stored on the server of the hosting provider and then forwarded via email to the in-box provided for this purpose. This process is purely internal to the server, which effectively rules out any risk to the privacy of your data. The legal basis for processing is Article 6, Paragraph 1, Point (f) of the GDPR, since we have a legitimate interest in being able to advise and address you individually and personally.

4. Newsletter

We also process data to be able to send you newsletters via email if you have given your consent for this. To this end, you have to contact us with the relevant email address and grant your consent. The legal basis for processing these data is your consent in accordance with Article 6, Paragraph 1, Point (a) of the GDPR. You can revoke this consent with effect for the future at any time.

5. IT Security

Finally, we also process data in your and our own interests in order to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of the data-processing systems, i.e., particularly the security and availability of your data in www.sitec-technology.de. The use of our website and our configurator is not possible without the processing of data for this purpose. The legal basis for processing this data is Article 6, Paragraph 1, Point (f) of the GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the maintenance and secure provision of our services.

 

Transfer of Data Outside the Borders of the EU

The data we collect are stored exclusively on servers located within the European Union. Data are not transferred to companies outside the European Union without your express consent. The same applies for the service providers who perform data processing on our behalf.

 

Data Recipients

In order to be able to offer you all the features at www.sitec-technology.de, we also make use of selected service providers who process data on our behalf and in our name. In the process, we transfer data to service providers we have carefully selected and with whom we have written service agreements, only within the scope of legally permissible contract processing. Duration of Data Storage

The provider of this website has no influence over this data transfer. Additional data collected by Google Analytics are the time you spend on individual pages, click paths and exit pages.
